EDCT 5134 - Curriculum & Instruction in CTE: Instructional Strategies
1 credit, graduate level
Description: Designed to provide provisionally licensed teachers in career and technical education (CTE) with instruction in developing and delivering curriculum. Further develops the teacher's ability to use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse population of students.

Delivery: 100% Online. Course can be taken from any computer anywhere in the world. There are no scheduled meeting times.
Restrictions: Students should be currently employed as teachers either on provisional licensure, emergency certification, technical professional licensure, or vocational certification. This course meets part of the state teacher licensure requirements for teachers in those categories and is not intended for pre-service teacher education students.
Computer Req: HARDWARE: Windows: Pentium (or compatable) 166MHz or greater, with Windows 95 or 98. 32 MB installed RAM Sound Blaster or compatible sound card, speakers or headphones (Direct X version 3.0 or later recommended). Macintosh: PowerPC 166MHz or greater, with MacOS 8.1 or later. 32 MB installed RAM )
SOFTWARE: Netscape Navigator 4.0 or greater OR Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or greater. Quicktime 4.0, Microsoft Word (Office 97 for windows, Office 98 for Mac.).
OTHER: Access to internet, e-mail.
Notes:

If you register for this course, you must also register for EDCT 5114 and EDCT 5124 at the same time. All three courses must be taken concurrently. Course fills a requirement for the Career and Technical Education Teacher Licensure Program.
